The 2023 Subaru Solterra is an all-new, all-electric SUV and the first-ever all-electric vehicle from Subaru. The Solterra is poised to revolutionize the way we think about EV driving.
Electric Power and Convenience
One of the most significant features of the Solterra is its dual electric powertrain. The electric motor delivers a smooth and quiet driving experience, but also a powerful one with 249 lb-ft of torque, up to 228 miles of range, and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Subaru have also partnered with EVgo® to ensure owners have access to more than 46,000 charging stations across the country. The regenerative braking system captures energy during braking and uses it to recharge the battery, further extending the vehicle’s range.

Reliable Safety
In terms of safety, the Solterra is packed with advanced features designed to protect passengers in the event of a collision. The EyeSight Driver Assist Technology uses cameras and sensors to monitor the road and help prevent accidents, vehicle stability control and electronic brake-force distribution, Subaru Parking Assist, and a Parking Support Brake with pedestrian detection.
The Soleterra will even alert you before you open a door with the Safe Exit System. The Solterra also comes standard with a suite of airbags, height adjustable seat belts, and whiplash-reducing front seats, making it one of the safest SUVs on the market.
Comfortable Interior
The interior is built for comfort and function, with u to 119 cu. ft. of space, lots of room for those legs in the backseat, and options that you’ll love, like easy-to-clean StarTex® upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, heated back seats, a glass roof, and an available 11-speaker Harman Kardon® sound system.
Of course, you can wirelessly connect to your Apple or Android phone, and the 12.3-inch multimedia display choice makes it easy to control everything from the driver’s seat safely. Connect to the Subaru app to control your vehicle remotely or talk to your Solterra by just saying, “Hey, Subaru.”

Incentives for Californians
The Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (CVRP) is the most significant program available to electric vehicle buyers in California, providing a rebate of up to $2,000 for eligible buyers of new battery-electric vehicles. Low-to-moderate income families can receive an additional $5,500, depending on their level of need. In addition to the CVRP, California offers the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, which is a grant program for low-to-moderate income buyers, and the California Clean Fuel Reward program, which provides $750 to buyers of qualifying electric vehicles.
