2024 Subaru Crosstrek

With four different trim levels to choose from, it's easy to find the version of the Crosstrek that has the exterior features you value most. The first trim is known as the Base, and it already comes with alluring features such as 17-inch dark-gray alloy wheels, dark-tinted rear privacy glass, and variable intermittent front wipers. You even get steering-responsive LED headlights from the start.

If you're looking to upgrade, consider the Premium trim. This stunning version of the Crosstrek boasts LED fog lights, integrated side-mirror turn signals, and raised roof rails. With the Sport trim, you get 18-inch alloy wheels and a roof spoiler that complements new gloss-black finishes on the grille. Finally, the Limited trim features additional accent LEDs on the front headlights as well as machine-finished alloy wheels.

Two engine options are available for the new 2024 Crosstrek, and they both have plenty to offer. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 152 horsepower with 145 pound-feet of torque. If that's not quite enough for you, the Sport and Limited trims come equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that offers 182 horsepower with 178 pound-feet of torque. Either way, it's paired with a continuously variable transmission with softened artificial shift points.

One of the more interesting aspects of the Crosstrek's performance is its flat engine style. Instead of the cylinders in the engine being arranged in a line vertically, they are oriented horizontally. This allows the engine to have a lower center of gravity, which increases the stability. Additionally, you can enjoy Subaru's iconic all-wheel-drive system with every version of the Crosstrek starting with the base-level trim.

The inside of the Crosstrek offers plenty of room for both passengers and cargo. In front, you get 42.9 inches of legroom, while your rear passengers can enjoy 36.5 inches. In terms of cargo, you'll find 19.9 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. Fold those down, however, and the available space expands to 54.7 cubic feet. In terms of technology, the Crosstrek comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. If you're looking for an upgrade, you can opt for an 11.6-inch infotainment display screen.

Crossovers are often used as family cars, so it's only natural that the Crosstrek comes equipped with state-of-the-art safety features. Some standard features include lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Even automated emergency braking is included on the base-level trim. This is all thanks to the EyeSight driver assistance suite, which is standard on every Crosstrek model.
