While the 2019 WRX may look practically identical to the previous model year, there are a couple of updates and changes for 2019 that are worth noting. Many of the updates for the 2019 WRX include new standard features like Apple CarPlay & Android Auto on every model as part of STARLINK multimedia system. In addition, Fullerton drivers will also have the option to pick a special new Cool Gray Khaki exterior color. But the biggest change for the 2019 WRX is boosted power and performance on the WRX STI with the addition of a new air intake and high-flow exhaust system.

The WRX comes standard with a fully synchronized 6-speed manual transmission and is available with Sport Lineartronic™ transmission with paddle shifters.
  • WRX STI: But if you are looking to take your performance to the next level, the WRX STI has that extra something you are looking for. The 2019 WRX STI is the most powerful STI yet with a 310 horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder turbocharged BOXER engine. As we previously mentioned, the 2019 WRX STI has received a new air intake and high-flow exhaust system which results in more horsepower. In true rally car fashion, the WRX STI is paired with a fully synchronized close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission for a fun and engaging driving experience. To handle all the power under the hood the WRX STI is equipped with Brembo® performance braking system.
